I have four that are roadworthy right now. They are:
I bought this 1980 Schwinn World Sport in a thrift store in 1985 for $15.00. It was in sad shape. I replaced everything but the crankset and bottom bracket and used it as a commuter for many years. It is still going strong and serves as a foul weather ride.
I bought this Univega Maximo Sport frame on Ebay and built it up in the summer of 2005 as my first fixed gear bike. It is a little small but still comfortable for puttering around and rides up to 30 miles or so. It also gets the nod when the weather is fenderish. For a more complete description of its equipment, click #3029 in my sig.
This is a Kogswell G58. Details in #3502 in my sig. It will eventually get fenders and a rack, lights etc and be used for some short (40-80 mi. per day) touring expeditions.
This is a 1987 Schwinn Super Sport that I bought as a NOS frame and fork in the spring of 2006. I built it up with a mix of NOS vintage parts and some newer stuff that I liked. It is a 14 speed with friction shifters. I have parts for two more rear wheels, one with a close ratio flatland cassette and one with a 11-34 for the hills... wheels to be built as I have time. This is my favorite ride for day trips when I don't feel like carrying a bunch of stuff. More photos in sig.
I also have a Trek rigid MTB frame that will become a fixed gear/single speed gravel road cruiser as soon as I get the wheels built and the rest of it put together. Hope to have it done in a month or so. After that; well there's that old Fuji frame behind the couch and that box full of components looking for a home... need to find a nice steel touring frame.

My primary commuter and all-duty car-free hauler, plus my loaded touring rig:
Only now it has a Brooks B-17 and Panaracer T-Serv tires, both of which make for a very classy-looking bike, I think. In case you can't tell, it's a 2006 Surly Long Haul Trucker. Great bike!
And then there's my road racing bike, which I use for fun, fast recreational riding. It's currently sitting in my basement patiently awaiting a 6 to 7-speed upgrade this winter (or late spring, when I'm more likely to have the cash). My 1987 Univega Gran Record:
I don't have any pictures of my third bike. This one is an old Schwinn LeTour III, which I've dated to 1978. The paint (what's left of it) is a light tangerine color. This has been my beater bike for about the last six months or so. It's also a project bike. For the first five of those months, it was a 3-speed conversion, with a 27-inch rear wheel built around an old Sears hub and a chopped steel flatbar. For the last month, it's been sitting in my basement awaiting its rebirth as a single-chainring 6-speed backup commuter and beater bike for the narsty weather. This bike has any number of problems, what with the rust and missing paint and the saddle that feels like sitting on a hunk of granite, but for some reason I've grown rather attached to it. It has fun handling but a more relaxed ride than the Univega.
I'm very fond of all of my bikes, and I wouldn't want to give up any of them!

Trek 830 MTB circa 1993 in metallic maroon (see Avatar)
Fuji Finest 1.0 WSD circa 2006 in powder blue (see signature)
I love them both.
The Trek has a B17 Brooks and the Fuji has a B72.
I am toying with the idea of getting a Fuji track bike.

Only three right now-
#1 is a Cycle Genius Falcon [recumbent], which is the long-distance road bike,
#2 is a RANS Fusion, which is a relaxed-geometry hybrid, and (with a rear rack and grocery baskets) is also the general running-around bike.
#3 is the first recumbent I bought, a Sun EZ-Speedster (the frame is a bit short for me and this bike is currently retired, awaiting its fate).
I had a few "normal" road and MTB bikes previously, but got rid of them as they became too uncomfortable to really enjoy. After I bought the first recumbent, I didn't think I'd ever buy another upright road bike--but a lot of recumbent riders said the RANS bikes were really nice to ride, so I got curious and ordered one--and it is true, they are nice. Very comfortable, and you can still cover good distances on them. Not at all like the Giant Revive league-stuff.
....I would probably own a MTB, except that I got no where off-road to ride that's conveniently close.
