For those interested in motorbikes!

Will know that every good rider gets their knee down! Just wondering, when your out and about on your bike do you/ or have you ever got your knee down?

I believe he is talking about leaning the bike over while cornering. It's kind of bragging rights with the sport bike crowd to see how far they can lean their bikes over. That's why they have knee pads sewn into their leathers.

I ride a Harley, leaning the bike over too far means your going to snag the footboards on pavement and drop the bike. LOL

Yeah, Harley's weren't really meant for turning. ;)

Okay, that is what I suspected. I have seen motorcycle racing before. I just didn't see a purpose for the post, so I thought I was missing something. I still don't see a purpose for the post. ;)

I imagine one's pedal would scrape first and you'd go down hard long before one's knee came close.

I've got a charming little Harrison Ford-style scar on my chin from just such an incident.

My friend rides a bagger and one of the wildest sights I ahve ever seen was following
him down Rt. 52 in Pa GRINDING the floorboards on every turn (MANY !)
and the boards barking like a dog and throwing a shower of sparks 3" long
everytime they touched
Great stuff !!
Anyone who says baggers cant rock corners just doesnt know how to
corner one, yet :D

I've stuck my knee out a time or two.

I do when I'm cornering more than 20mph...
