Is it possible to tour easily with the xtracycle?

I wonder if this would work as well on a roadbike setup?

Check out this crazyguyonabike contributor, Hank Raines. He has all the information you would need on the Xtracycle's ability to cycletour.

I've been wondering this myself. I know that Todd over at http://todd.cleverchimp.com/blog/ has done some limited touring.
