Now that you mention it, a ride sounds better than sitting here! After I eat dinner I think I'll go out. Where I don't know just yet.

Hey Machka. We stay on the SA River Trail most of the time. No cars and from what I've been reading, I'm glad. Too many cyclists down!

Gina has done somewhere around 2500 miles so far this year. Best in several years now. Maybe it's cause the spoiled brat is digging her new CF Pilot!

In the last couple of weeks, I've met quite a few forum members. Many on the trail I frequent. Good thing about the new SoCal forum!

I went for an early morning ride today on the MUP (it's nice and empty on Sunday mornings). The wind was blowing on the 11 mile return trip and even though I've been riding regularly in August and September after being forced off the bike in July, I spent a lot of time mountain biking and lately my road rides have been mostly inland to avoid the wind, so this was actually my third ride on flat windy terrain since June and boy did I feel it. Other than that, it was a nice ride.

Just got back. Berg Park/Animas Riverwalk in Farmington, NM. I don't do those impressive distances, but I try to get out twice a day, and usually succeed.

I got a nice 64 km/40 mile ride in today ... along an old commute route of mine. It was a little chilly, but the autumn colors were lovely.

This is what I did today. Trace was beautiful as always and so were back country roads. The route I had planned was different, but when I got at the road I needed to turn at, it was under the bridge, so I just turned around and did a different loop. Since I underestimated the time it was going to take me to get back, I got late and it was completely dark during last 2 miles.

35 miles, 3681 ft. of climbing.

*groan* I only rode to the grocery store and back yesterday, and even that was under protest. I rode 90 miles on Saturday, though... Great ride, would have been better if I'd remembered to actually EAT the power bars I brought... I rode for about 5 and a half to 6 hours without eating anything... 4 flats, 5 miles of hiking because we couldn't get a patch to stick... yeah.

It WAS a good ride, though.

Ended up having to take the bus the last 5 miles home because I couldn't quite make it.

I was going for a 75 mile ride, but was slowed down by a kid with me and only got in 45. As for monday, today, Im not riding im driving my car to scout out routes to ride my bike to work. Been having trouble finding a solid route so im just going to drive around until I find it. The back roads get pretty complicated. so far, I have managed to start near my home and end up back near my home twice. unfortunately, my home is not near my job so I obviously havent found the correct route.

I rode over to my parents' place to help my dad put up a new back fence, it's about 1/2 hour away. 7 hours later I left for home and decided to do the hilly route. About 2 1/2 hours of hard riding to get home.
