toporoute.com is nice because it will adjust your line to the road if you click on two points.

But TopoUSA software is far better than either unless sharing your routes with others is a priority.

Wow, just tried Routeslip. Where has it been all my life? Very cool. Goodbye bikejournal hello route slip. Now if we can just get routeslip to allow equipment mileage.

Wow, this site actually snaps to the road data instead of making you trace over it like gmap.com and routeslip.com.
