Nerd Alert!
Okay everyone! Some of you saw my earlier thread about getting my friend to start riding in the proper attire for her needs. I was thinking....maybe to make her smile a bit I might get her a bell or horn or some kind of warning device for her to put on the handlebars. Perhaps something whimsical, to add a little cheer to her new exercise regime.
Anybody have pics of what you use? Or some fun suggestions?
Thanks!

See the huge bell on the handlebar? Try and find one of them. Not sure if you can still buy one. I have seen other bells, and tried them, but this one is MUCH LOUDER! I have never used it while riding yet, in fear of making whatever I am ringing the bell at, have a heart attack.

Not exactly whimsical, but I think these are very nice looking bells.

No pix, but my daughter at 24 years old has had a horn on every bike she has owned except her road bike. Her ETSX has Penelope the purple cow. Her old Fuji hardtail has Willy the Whale, and on her new Jamis Dragon hardtail, a shark with several teeth blacked (my contribution) graces her handlebar. There are a whole series of silly horns that might brighten up her ride. My personal favorite is the Sumo wrestler.

Wow thanks for the pics and the links, everyone! I like that Japanese Brass bell for myself actually!
Crum, do you know the brand or have a link to those that your daughter has? That's something she may like. (Or even me for my bad boy comfort bike - shhhh don't tell!)

OH thank you Crum!! I'm want that turtle for my comfort bike! The sumo is cool too but I don't want her to see that one. Maybe the frog for her....
