A beautiful Day in Zippyland
I'm sitting in my classroom right now waiting for parents. It's parent-teacher conference day! That means I got to come in at 11:00 a.m. instead of at 7:00 a.m.. True, I'll be here until 6:00 p.m., but I had time this morning to drop the kids off at school and have a quick ride. The day began chilly, but beautiful. By the time I finished my ride, I was overdressed. Even though I have to sit in a basement classroom all day, I feel great! I'll probably have kinder things to say about my students. Shine all you want, sun, I'll catch up with you tomorrow.

Are those parents aware that the person effecting the minds of their impressionable young offspring is riding around town on a bicycle (of all things!), while wearing odd clothing?

Shocking, isn't it? I'd be messing with their young minds even more if I commuted on the bike and walked into school in cycling clothes (too far, though).
