Branford Bike to Re-open

I got an email from Tim Brocket, the (former) owner of Branford bike with the following good news:

Tim writes:
"Branford Bike will reopen on February 1st, 2007

Branford Bike is rising from the ashes! The new owner is Rodd Wagner of Seattle, Washington. I am proud to announce that both the retail store and web based mail order sales divisions of Branford Bike are moving to Seattle and will reopen for business on February 1st, 2007. I, Tim Brockett, am working closely with Rodd to assure a smooth transition. Several Branford Bike employees including Lisa, Anne and Lance will continue to serve customers via the Branford Bike web site. The new retail store and warehouse will be located at 2404 10th Ave. E. in downtown Seattle, Washington, 98102. Stop by for a visit or place your order online on or after February 1st, 2007.

Thank-you for your support over the years and especially after the fire. Your kind words provided much needed comfort and encouragement during the most difficult time of my life. I will be forever grateful.

Please continue your support of Branford Bike and help the new owner, Rodd Wagner, make it even better then before. Pass the word to your friends and riding buddies that Branford Bike is rising from the ashes and will be open for business on February 1st, 2007. Feel free to share this e-mail with others, post it on the web or hand out copies at your next club ride."

Good luck, Tim. Many of us appreciated Branford Bike and look forward to the re-opening!!

I am glad to hear Branford will reopen. There are tons of Shimano specific shops out there. Very few shops specialize in Campagnolo. Brandford was one of the few shops with a knowledgeable Campagnolo mechanic/owner. There website was unsurpassed for its Campagnolo knowledge. Hopefully, the new owner will continue in the tradition.
