Needing ideas for stuff to buy? How about a special saddle from the red light district "bicycle shop"?

If you do not have one, call her back and ask for a Powertap power meter hub.

There's a coffee shop that doesn't mind me taking my bike inside, although the place I can leave it is out of direct sight when you're waiting in line. The wheel lock is perfect for that. I also use it as part of my long-term parking strategy. I've got a good U-lock that goes on the frame with a cable for the front wheel. Since my frame is a step-through, I've never been able to get the U lock around it and the rear wheel. So, the rear wheel lock allows me to lock the frame and both wheels. We've got a lot of bike theft around here, and I haven't lost mine yet.
I like my bike mounted locks, I have one with the rear wheel lock and a Raleigh with a locking front fork. I think they are great for low crime areas, but I do carry a mini u also. One trick I use with the rear wheel lock is to carry a light cable to wrap around something then stick the end in the wheel lock, it just fits on my Giant. BTW those locks are available somewhere stateside...I just don't recall where I saw them.

From the Netherlands?!? Dude, go all out and ask her for a Rabobank skinsuit, Rabobank team-edition Colnago C-50 (road and cyclocross frames), a Koga pusuit bike, Amstel Gold race memorablilia, and a six pack of Heinekin.
If she doesn't bring you back that stuff, then she doesn't really love you.
