I need your Internet VOTE - I want to build a Bicycle Brewpub

I hate to join the group and immediately ask for favors from strangers......but it seems like many things in life these days are started with a popularity contest.

At least i am a avid cyclist ( city, dirt, cross, road) and want to create a better place for cyclists!

VOTE HERE:
www.whatbrewareyou.com/contest.php

TOP RIGHT Video - handsome gentelman in the Orange Shirt and Rubber Boots.

Voting ends 1/22 at midnight EST.
One Vote per computer.

SOMETIMES - the video will not play on the contest Voting Page....
It can also be watched Directly on YouTube by searching for the title 'Whats Brewing in San Francisco'

The video is just a pitch to give an idea of Who I Am as a person.

I DO NOT MENTION anything about BIKES in my Video Pitch.
The Video was to be based on the book "whats Brewing in You' by Sam Calagione owner of DOGFISH HEAD BREWING CO..
I choose to relflect on my time as a Indie Music Distributor to relate to the book, rather than Time on the Saddle of my bike!

The written portion was a complete Business Plan with financial projections and detailed Product Description, Cost Analysis, Marketing Strategy, and much more....including Bikes

First place is recognition and a small amout of startup money.

But the recognition will enable me to soldify the other investors i have lined up.

This is a Real Dream, and I appreciate your time and support

If anybody wants to know how it turns out... I will post at End of January - or write me and i will stay in touch.

Cheers

Dan Schneider
San Francisco, CA

I'll vote for you only if you build the Pub up here. San Fran is a long ride just for a beer

There's nothing on there about a bicycle brewpub.

I was Unable to mention anything about BIKES in my Business Video Pitch because I only had THREE Minutes in which to relate my life to topics in the the book the contest was based on. I felt focusing on my Day Job as a Music Distributor was a better angle.

The book was called 'Brewing Up a Business' by Sam Calagione Owner of Dogfish Head Breweing Company.

This looks like spam disguised as a cycling post.

I just want to thank everyone who took the time to look!

Even if you excercized your right to vote for another hard working contestant!

Just to point out One Small Bike Image from my video... in the segment where i talk about 'creating a beer catering service...' and the screen image is a bunch of flyers and invites... Look at the Flyer at the bottom right... wow ... a mt bike is clearly visible to one of my events in 1995.
(you can also go direct to YouTube and search for 'Whats Brewing in San Francisco' - then you can watch it in grainy Full Screen)

I donate free beer to many cycling events in San Francisco!

Its a small reference - but like I have pointed out- It IS A Business Plan Contest.... sorry my cycling is my recreation and was not pertinent to the Book the Contest was based upon.

Cheers to all

dan

While I like the idea, the big negative to a cycling brew pub in CA is the fact that you can "earn" a DUI on a bike just like a car.

There is a great brew pub just over 2 miles from me, and I have considered sidewalk cycling as a means to get there.
