Ugly Bikes
Okay, I couldn't resist. Seeing all of the amazing bikes BF members have put together, I thought we needed a thread of ugly-a** bikes. Of course, I can't really fnd the worst I've seen, but I came across this WRONG combination on CL:

Eh, it hasn't seen dirt in months. Cleaner than the dog, anyway.

I have one that is so ugly that I can only show parts of it. Pictures of the whole bike are too hideous for even the internet
I'm sorry. It had to be done.

You could enter about half of Colnago's paint jobs (unless of course you are sent back to 1986 in a time machine). But the extreme power "jet" paint job takes the cake for me. Fighter jets may be cool, but that's like a 3rd grader's bed spread.

Here are not 1, but 2 examples of ugly bikes:
This bike is so ugly, when I bought it and was bringing it home, a group of teenagers pulled up beside me looked at it only (thank God not at me), pointed at the bike and laughed their heads off!:

And my Dahon folding bike-a real Frankenbike:

That first bike wasn't ugly. It looks fine. Now, all folding bikes are ugly. They are the mechanical equivalent of a lanky, awkward, teenage boy.

I damaged the bearings in my right pedal, black set.
Replaced it with the former unsealed bmx red set, right pedal only.
Now you need to visualize that the bike, has a red front bmx caliper brake.
The rear caliper and brace are black, add to this the one red pedal -it looks bad.
Oh ..and on the frame only the seattube is red, all the other tubes black.....and wrapped in old innertubes zip-tied for impacts.
And it's filthy with 4 months of winter commuting and cheap grease.

I live in Holland, the land of rusty ugly bikes, and that striped eyesore wins hands down.
