    Bianchi first-time customer porn!

I was contemplating returning my old, damaged Cannondale frame, getting a new Cannondale frame at the frame replacement program discount, then putting the old parts on the new frame for my wife.

But then I saw this at a Seattle shop for $999.99! I don't think I could have built the other bike for her for much less than this fully new (2006) bike. It's full 105 5600 except for the chain (KMC - they make Shimano chains anyway I think) and headset (duh). It even included Wellgo SPD pedals. Wheels are WH-R560's. Sarah loves it and is excited to go much faster and have a much lighter bike than her Marin hybrid. Now I need to sell the other stuff on Craig's List.

She still needs bottle cages, a speedometer, and a seat pack. And she was going to get a new helmet soon so any inputs on what she should get are appreciated!

p.s. Anyone know what I need to do so that the flash does not white-out portions of the picture like in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th pictures? I mean when taking the picture, I don't have PhotoShop to edit with, just Kodak EasyShare.

p.p.s. I'M NOT GOING TO FLIP IT! (yet)

You have to bounce the flash off the ceiling. Not possible with an on-board flash, however.

turn the flash off, adjust the white balance to the room lighting, and step up the ISO and f-stop if your camera allows it.

try some waxed paper in front of the flash as a diffuser if your camera doesn't allow adjustments.

nice bike. 1,000 bucks on a new bike and new kid too? Wow. must be plush. congratulations.

I went to the Bianchi site to look for the mentioned accessories. Bad idea... now Sarah knows that you can get Celeste bottle cages AND pedals!

Looks great! Everytime I see a Bianchi in that celeste (green), I think I want one. Flip the stem, and it will look even better!
