The sun is shining

So I went out partying last night, woke up late, and spent since then cleaning, checking email, generally being useless.

I happen to glance over at my window and notice bright horizontal lines peaking through the slats of my blinds. I walk over and lift the blinds to see what might be causing this and behold! Sunlight and blue skies! 55 degrees! It hasn't been like this in about 4 months!

Lemme just add some air to the tires and I'll be back in about 2 hours.

(ps - if conditions are anything like this where you are right now, I suggest you get your spin on).

You know that point in a ride after you're fully warmed up and before you start getting fatigued where you feel pretty much aerobically invincible? Well, I had to get back for an appointment and ended up finishing the ride right in the middle of that period. Still, it was very nice to finally have good weather to ride in.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, all.

I left work this morning with the sun shining, the birds singing blah blah blah. I had a lovely ride home this morning.

About 6 hours later it was pouring rain!

I'm glad I got in the ride when I did .

Nice. Definitely better than the rides where start in the sun-shine, and just as you get to the farthest point on the ride, it starts pouring.
