i want to design my own handlebars

i can't find ones that have all i want.

i'd start with the basic ritchey biomax design. maybe even a steeper bend to the brifters.

i'd extend the straight part of the drops about an inch (maybe - i'd have to see how much it "interferes" with steering/pedaling).

i'd flatten the top bar except at a slight angle (maybe 10 or 15 degrees tilted towards me).

i'd make the tube oversized (or double wrap the bar).

i'd offer it in a 46cm size.

anyone ever find handlebars close to this? would you even want to?

oh yeah, and i'd offer it in both long and short drops. the angled part going down to the drops would be straight and longer than typical.

can you tell i have big hands? and you know what that means!

Depends on when you bought your XXL gloves. I used to get just XL gloves. But two years ago the LBS got all new revamped product lines for gloves. Now I have to wear an XXL glove. I don't think my hand's volume or surface area had changed any. Perhaps, people who were size Medium were starting to feel inferior, so the just relabled the size as "L" so they would feel better. But the "L" had to be changed to "XL" and "XL" had to be changed to "XXL". So it is possible that you who were "XXL" are now "XXXL".

Anyways, I'm 6' 2" and think I'm being phased out by the bicycling industry. If you are taller, I don't know how you manage to keep riding. You must make your own equipment or know of a big and tall bicycle shop.
