New To Mountain Biking...Please Advise >
Okay, I decided this past Winter that I need to get off my butt and do something this year. I've chosen mountain biking because I love the outdoors and nature.
I just got a new Xterra (with interior bike rack) and I'll be taking off from work in mid April to go bike hunting.
- Not too concerned about price (under $1500 would be nice but not necessary)
- Will be riding mostly on wooded trails, fields and some roads (paved and gravel)
- I'm 6' 2"...what height bike should I get?
I want a really great mountain bike. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please be patient...I will check in at a later date to read any responses.

That is a tough one to answer because the geometry on the bikes is different from style to company's. The bike that I rode in 2004 was a 17" and that is considered a medium. The same bike in 2006 that I bought had a slight frame design change and that was a 15.5" and considered a medium.
You would probably have to find the bike that you want and then get measured for was frame size you need.
