i'm green with envy

this is so frutrating. i'm not an ocp or anything....but its hard as heck to find green cycling components/accessories. not that celeste green bianchi makes. a cool, kelly green.

i've had to resort to coloring my white lettering and accessories in with a green magic marker. again, i'm not an ocp. i'm just a fred who likes to color-coordinate.

I would like a mid to dark colored green jersey. Green seems to be one of my missing colors.

Oh no, is it that hard to find the green stuff?

Have you checked the C & V jersey thread? There's a green jersey in that lot, although I don't know if it's the correct colour, nor if it's in your size.

Classic & Vintage Jersey - ORDER HERE!

i did check that thread. there were a couple of cool jerseys. however, i'm a 48-50 chest....which in cycling terms equates to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXL. i can't find many in that size.

i've been looking for green pedals, helmets, shoes, cable sleeves, tires and spokes. they're next to impossible to find. i bought some testor's model paint. i'll try that on my spokes next.

That does make it tough. Too bad, those are some nice jerseys. I can tell you that apparently painting tyres is not a good thing. Something about it making the tyres rot.

Helmets, I don't think I've EVER seen a green helmet. It sounds as if the Testor's paint indeed may be next.

I found a dark green sweat wicking shirt at Target. I have seen dark green bike frames. I know you can get anodized bike bolts and spoke nipples.
