Why does this always happen to me?

whenever I buy something new for my bike I can never use it for two weeks. Case in point, I just ordered some new panniers and now of course we are supposed to get a snow storm here so I may not be riding now for a week or so. I was going to take my bike to the shop today to get a couple of new spokes and cable adjustment but If I leave it there, who knows how long it will be until I can pick it up.

Of course if my bike was in perfect running condition, and had new panniers and everything, the weather would be perfect.

As soon as I buy something to use, the weather gets bad and I am stuck for a week

It's karma. Review your past life and atone for your sins.

And yes, when I drive to work all of the traffic signals are on green except for those days when I've told a fib or something.

I have nothing against Crazy cyclist so he can at least believe that at least one person is not gunning for him. Just glad that he is far enough away so that he cannot influence my rides.

Learn how to do your own repairs and you never have to leave the bike at the shop.

Think positive! It probably won't help with nature, but it won't hurt either.
