Some people have never ridden a bicycle ?

I can remember a old fellow never rode a bicycle till he was about 55 yrs. old couldn't keep him off the cycle after that?
I know this is hard for some to believe but it is true.

I'm confused by the poll selection too since any one statement doesn't seem to be diammetrically opposed to any other.

I grew up in Chicago, and that's where I learned to put ketchup on my hot dogs. And onions.

Hmmm... I grew up in Chicago too and was always taught that while onions were mandatory, ketchup was a no-no.

Well, you're 21 years younger than I am. I suppose your information is more current than mine.

I live in Philadelphia now, where pretzels are the size of hot dogs (and mustard is mandatory) and asking for an "Italian beef sandwich" earns you a blank stare or an offer of a Philadelphia cheesesteak (eg, a fried chipped beef sub with Cheez Wiz).

Well I didn't want to run the poll to the extent indicated?..but I had to choose a couple options to get it started..thats not my fault that was forced upon me by this forum? If I could post forum the way I wanted to it would read...Do you know anyone that doesn't ride a bicycle?..I know this is hard to figure out but I bet there are still some that would like to start but maybe there critical of the way others think...Not understanding fully that it is smart people that cycle, and it is for everyone...So the forum administrator can deleate the poll then?

I think the poll should be changed to reflect how many prefer ketchup to mustard on their hotdog....this could be important.

I have a friend who doesn't know how to ride. I find it somewhat strange since until a couple of years ago he didn't know how to drive either. Usually I encounter people who do both or one and not the other but rarely neither. He just walked everywhere and/or took public transit. I guess living in Boston had a lot to do with it. I understand it's both a horrible city to drive and bike in... or so my friends tell me. He recently moved out west (first to California where he found that he needed to learn how to drive) and then up to the Seattle area. My other friends and I tried to teach him how to ride a bike one day. It turned out to be a disaster. Let's just say that I had to wash blood off my driveway.

There was this place in the Lake City neighborhoood of Seattle about 15 yearsd ago Chicago Red Hots the owner would chastize you if you asked for ketchup (he had it though jsut didn't give it up easy) . And boy ever since they left it is hard to find a good dog out here.

I know I'll always have a bicycle.
Thanks for fixing the poll.
Some people know how to ride a bicycle but they've done it very little in there life time for whatever reason? So how do you count that according to poll.
I would say haven't ridden..eg. If you've just ridden a few times, you haven't really got into it[I'm not refering to anyone on these bicycle forums cause I know you all cycle]
