Anyone use the Seat Ultimate by Ergo ?

This seat:

seems to hold out the promise of a seat that doesn't errr ... bend certain parts. But without a saddle horn, how easy would it be to bike on? Anyone use it? Can it be used with a touring bike's geometry? At $25, I'm tempted to get one just to see how it goes.

The problems that most people find with these seats are not with the seats themselves, but the bicycle you put it on. When you put a noseless saddle on a regular upright bike, you tend to slide forward off the seat (due to the pedals being nearly under the seat) --so many "ergo" noseless seats have a mounting setup that shifts them back a couple inches. This stretches you out more and helps you stay on the seat a bit better--but it also causes a lot more hand pressure, and more neck strain as well.

There's a few semi-recumbent bicycles made out there that use a geometry that could work well with a noseless seat--the Lightfoot Surefoot, Day6Bicycles and perhaps the Sun SunRay--I think these all can mount regular saddles. The reason these bikes work well with ergo seats is because with these bikes, the pedals are located far forward of the seat.

I've got a RANS Fusion that came with a noseless seat and it's very nice overall, but with the RANS bikes they use non-standard seatposts and seat clamps--you couldn't easily put on a regular saddle even if you wanted to. You don't need padded shorts however, and there's no hand pressure or neck strain.
