I met Joe!!!
Hey everyone! Just have to say I got to meet Joe (Forum Janitor) for a bike ride yesterday! Had a good time and I was lucky enough that he slowed down enough so I could keep up with him.
Has anyone else met with Forum members?

Other then the stiff wind, rain and bugs (also stiff), it was a great ride.
I'm not going to ruin Tilly's illusion that I had to slow down for the ride...

(And no need to double check with me...)

I think it's great when BF members meet up and ride together. I definitely enjoyed my part of the Rainman's excellent San Diego adventure.

I actually met up with 2 forum members this past mothers day weekend in Ohio, it was TOSRV and I met and actually rode with Anastasia, that was nice, and there was one other person here, who plz forgive me Kevin, but I can't remember your forum name, but I met him at the ride also..It was very cool, and yeah I agreee with John E here, it's nice when forum members can get together and ride also, put's a face and person with the people who type here..
Joe it sounds like you're a very nice and good person, I personally think that this forum, while it's the first one that I have been a part of in my life, but I'm really impressed with the people on it, and the way you have organzied and run it..It's clean and very good, I really like that, and am glad that I have joined it...It really show's that you are good and have a knack for this kind of computer stuff, and that's really cool in my mind..
Take care,
Benjamin

Someone mentioned in another thread that Bike Forums should have a dating section, but why not have an activity partner section. This form would be good for people who want to connect with other BF members as a cycling partner, touring partner, or even relationship partners.
For example: Biker X will be in City Y, would like to meet hot Bike Forums cyclist for a ride and a beer.

Wow, Cool. You got to meet Joe. That is more cool than meeting the President of the USA (cause I don't think he bikes).
I met Rainman, BLWYN, and Inkwolf so far. All of them are really neat people.
