    Bianchi LED Saddles

Anyone else have a Bianchi with the LED's built into the saddle? Are your's bright? Just curious.

I pulled the batteries out of my Milano's saddle the other day when I took it for a spin(they were old) and didn't bother to replace them because even with fresh batts the LED's were always pretty weak in intensity. I also never liked the fact that the flashing pattern is so random that at times there's only a single LED blinking. I've used the seat light a few times just for S&G's,but always thought it was just a gimmick and used a proper rear blinky. Mine's an '05,are the newer ones brighter with a better blink pattern?

At first thought this sounds cool, but they'd be covered up when I ride with a guitar on by back. Dang.

I have that saddle on my Bergamo. I like it, though I too agree that it is not the brightest available. At least it's comfortable...the sweetest seat I've ever had on a bike.

I was thinking it might be possible to wire it up for a 9v battery, but that might burn out the LEDs, no?
