Skiahh.... I'm from Maine, originally. You know, land of "pahk the cah" and all. So, skier becomes skiahh. I've been skiing a lot longer than I've been biking or I'd probably be bikahh.

When I first found this forum and I was signing up, my wife was gone and I had our 5 kids, ages 12, 12, 10, 5, and 4, by myself... and it was raining outside.

g'day,
mines a long term nickname....shortened version of my surname. I was thinking of changing it to 'cycleprincesses stalker' but then she might be 'on' to me!
cheers,
Hitchy

I actually do work at a zoo. It's my username on a bunch of different message boards. I try to register on any board I run into that has a subject that interests me. Several of them have had me around for over three years!

I'm an extreme version of Yorick. I made up the name years ago when I realized that everyone and their mother had taken "Yorick" and all variations thereof. Oh, and no, I didn't get the name from Hamlet, I got it from an old Sierra game. It's that old.

Cerberus is a three headed dog that guarded the entrance to Hades and is also known for Hercules 12th Labor. GL are my initials. Gregory was derived from the Greek word gregoros meaning "watchful, alert". Cerberus is also watchful hence the use as my name.

My nickname is AJ & I traded my 1000cc Vee-twin Ducati ST2 (ST2 "Duk") in on a roadcycle. I used to burn up the highways at 200km+, now I enjoy the view. God I miss that sexy red machine - sigh

catatonic....long story, but the nickname was given to me a while back. About everyone I knew had a different nickname for me....from jack**s, to sparky (when I was learning electronics I had a bad habit of getting electrocuted on a regular basis), to schissekoph (spelling could be off, really embarassing story involving not knowing the language i was trying to speak).
...doesnt help I remind everyone of someone else either....
...basically I jsut zone out from time to time, nothing big, just my mind gets derailed onto a side thought, and next thing you know I'm dead quiet and basically statue like while thinking about it. Oh, and people regularly mistake me for dead when I'm asleep, fell asleep on light rail and someone threw a freaking ammonia inhaler under my nose....it's not my fault my breathing is that shallow when asleep
