Can I take my WSD Trek 1500 touring?
 

Hello!
Last year I bought a "totally sweet" Trek 1500 WSD. I love riding it to work and on day trips out of town but I would ultimately love to be able to take it on overnight/week long trips. Is it possible to outfit this fancy roadbike with racks/panniers for touring or am I in a hole here? Someone told me that I would have to replace my carbon post and get wheels that can bear more weight? Is any of this true? Thank you very much!
