I want to fly my bicycle... I want to fly my bike.

Have any of you seen the movie Dark Blue World? It's about a bunch of Czech pilots in training (by the British) during World War II. In one scene, they're taught formation and fighter tactics on bicycles. They're split up into two squadrons riding bikes dressed with little wings, gunsights and everything... even a radio. They're assigned these bikes throughout their training before they're even allowed to fly. If you're a war buff, this is also a very enchanting little movie.

It'd be interesting to find out more about the use of bicycles in pilot training during WW2. Oh... and the Spitfire footages were pretty good too.
