Will I be able to use this road shoe with these pedals?

Adidas Girano Road Shoe & Crank Brothers MXR Pedal??

Can these pedals/cleats/shoes work? Thanks. This may be my first clipless combo. I want to see if I like it.

It looks like it will work. You may need like a pontoon on either side of the cleat, just like on SPDs when used on road shoes. Those are available as separate items. These images are from performancebike.com

It will help in walking since the cleats stick out on road shoes.

You might want to search some reviews of Adidas shoes (& their other cycling gear) first.

They'll work just fine. However you'll be wearing the cleats down at a pretty fast rate if you do any sort of walking beyond just the usual putting your foot down at stops and the occasional bathroom trip.

You may want to pick up a set of road cleats with the aforementioned pontoons so you have better stability when pedaling and to protect the cleat a bit more when walking:

    This will work good:

    These will work better:

And the Adidas cycling shoes are kinda meh... At least the ones i picked up.

Those shoes look pretty decent. IMHO nice choice on the eggbeaters Also, with those fiberglass outsole you may want to look into getting the sole shields from crankbros too.
