Crank Bros Quattro Pedals + Sidi Bullet 2 Mesh MTB Shoes ?

Hi, I'm looking to purchase "Sidi Bullet 2 Mesh MTB Shoes". Does anyone here know if they're compatible with "Crank Bros Quattro pedals"? According to the pedal manual it says ya might need to trim a small amount of tread from the bottom of the shoe for it to work with the pedal.

arghh! I really don't feel like trimming a brand new pair of shoes.

I have Quattros on my road bike. None of my commuter shoes (mtn style) or sandals will "easily" engage in the Quattors. I have Eggbeaters on my commuter.
