Looking for a decent bike plz read...

Im looking for a decent bike to ride around the city (houston, TX), but not like long distances. my last bike was a mountain bike, something XG sport which i got back in 2004. It was totaled when i was hit by a car on my ride home. now i finally need a new bike. I like mountain bikes that i can take on easy trails. I also want a bike with suspension. I found the Schwinn S-25 but heard it was crap or wasnt good enough. I also want it to be a 26 inch.
So im just looking for a bike thats for me for around $150-225

Check out your local Craig's List. You won't find a new bike in your price range that will be of decent quality, but you can find a used one.
