Ahh, thanks Denver, I'll ad Hybrids to the Comfort area... ie "Comfort & Hybrids"... more or less the same, no?

As for the site... its an auction, for bikes

Pay for performance only, basic listing fees are free, low final value fees. Goal is to partner with a few dozen other sites with a revenue sharing program and take away some of eBay's income...

I guess i don't quite agree, but I am not really sure. In my mind, "Comfort" tends more to the "Beach Bike" category, while a hybrid would be a mix of mtn and road??

Who knows? I think the definitions are blurred and fuzzy.

Ought to be some bike shop owners here who could tell you.

I just found this on a quick Google:

Kettler Jan 5 Speed Comfort Bike Men
Overall rating: This product has

The lowest base price is $799.99

How about a "Special Pricing for BikeForums Members" category.

Let us know when the site is up and running so we can check out the deals.

How about $25 in listing credits for all forum members who register within the first 24hrs? Everyone else will receive $5 in listing credits...

If I can get 2 - 3 handcycles listed a week, i'll add that category, until then, I think handcycles and unicycles will have to go in the "other" category.

Dumb question: Why do you have "Electronics" and "HRM" as separate categories?
Does "Electronics" include watches as well as computers?
What about lights?

You must import? I don't believe there are any meth labs in Lehi, Utah. No?

Good luck on the new web venture!

Don't forget to let us know when you're gonna be up and running- don't just put the website up and expect for us to know it's up, man! I might be out doing another century and totally miss out on the grand opening!

For the record, I think you should include the HRMs with the electronics category. That's how the other big boys do it...

Koffe, I'll be emailing all members that have logged into the forums in the last week about the grand opening, i'll also put up an advertisement on the forums.

And yes, I have removed the HRM cat, and expect them to be listed within the electronics category.

Joe you may also want to add the C02 "guns" and cartridges as a methond to air up tires other then frame pumps. I do not know if they are called a C02 "gun" so it may be prudent to find out what the actual terminology is. To some folks seeing the word gun on a web site like this may raise an alarm.

Also under tires are you going to have differant selections of tires? Like sizes for road hybred & mountain? If so then you may want to be sure to include the sizes for recumbents as well. There are 3 differant tire sizes for 'bents. 16", 20" and 26". Most recumbents have 2 of the 3 differant sizes. Some have both tires the same size.

Instead of just saying hydration would it be possible if you specified water bottles or hydration packs?

Is there going to be anything on Panniers, saddle bags, or things like the B.O.B. trailers, etc?

I did not see anything like a small took kit listed.

Finally what about a small first aid kit as part of the list?

Oh yeah, a first aid kit would be nice (with one of those pocket guides for first and and cpr- you can get that free at the American Red Cross).... and hey- how about if you could put together like a survival kit (my personal wish list, no biggie) in general- with some of those dried food rations, one of those emergency cheapie rain ponchos, a first aid kit, duct tape and a knife, and one of those emergency blankets, like the ones they give to the folks at the end of the marathon? That would be sooooooooo cool- they don't sell those often enough, and I have my own survival kit I put together, but it would be nice to not have to scrounge around looking for all the different stuff separately.

What about a causal clothes category, you know, t-shirts, ball caps, that sort of thing. Also, you have shoes twice.

With the amount of freeriders and dhers increasing, maybe a "chain guide" category?

Not sure how i missed those last few, added Lights to Accessories, New Old Stock to Components, and Vintage to Bicycles and Frames.

Kevin, I think chain guides will be listed under Cranksets / Chainrings. However, if there is the demand (more then a just a few listed daily), I'll see about adding another category.

Joe,

Remember your programming ?
KISS, (keep it simple stupid). (no insult intended )
I think maybe you;ve got things broken down too much.

That said maybe a catagory for "Collectables" like
Signed posters, Jerseys, Bikes etc.
