Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

All I said was I needed a Chamois! It ain't about anything but protecting my backside while riding! Nothing to do with anything else. Nothing Puritanical about this American!

I look at it like the Japanese do, often seen, but seldom noticed.

don't ride one of those saddles with the holes in it... cus yer nut might get caught in there.
also, cycling might just be one of those things where wearing clothing is just a good idea. at least wear something to keep the boys in place. i still haven't figured out how you people run whilst nude.

I suspect folks who go nude lots are used to it. I am. I worked in the yard nude today, and up in my little bike shop. I did put on pants and shoes, eye protection, & ear plugs for the chaingsaw part of working in the yard! I generally swim nude. Except for the uncle living in the house, we'd probably be nude most of the time. But that's not the subject.

I think I'll just try it. Put some shorts under the seat in case they're needed. Will be fun. I'm not going blasting around or anything, just poking around all the dirt roads. Will let folks know how it works.

Interesting. The kids are the ones who ask to go. They love it. No pressure. Just natural being. Pretty cool.

I know for a fact I couldn't ride my current bike nude... the saddle is way too hard. I'd go with something soft 'n' squishy. Perinial pressure might be a concern if you're going on rought terrain. I'd avoid, uh, going anywhere too rough. A fall while naked seems like it'd be much worse.

Yeah, I just can't see mountain biking as a sport that would be enjoyable in the nude... human skin just isn't that tough, and I get enough scratches and bruises WITH clothes. It's got nothing to do with prudishness - just practicality!

I've spent time at nude beaches, and that's fun, but for other activities I just find I want that extra bit of armour, not to mention sun protection. That much sunscreen gets expensive, and sticky!
