I have a hard time doing it with records in my messenger bag, so I usually take it off. Make sure you flip up the bill on your cycling cap and turn it to the side a little bit. Also it won't work if you're not wearing mascara.

Let's see, normally, you pull the nose up a bit, and hit rudder and ailerons at the same time....Oh, wait, that's on a P-51.

Actually.. that's not a rug, that's an "Unfold and Screw" as we referred to them in the college days. I've also heard the term "Flip and xxxx" (use your imagination)
