Questionable ebay Auction

Anyone as concerned about this as I am?
Doesn't look like the guy knows what he is selling (carbine steerer... wtf?)
and just concerned this might be a stolen bike. If it were just a fraudulent listing it would probably have the correct brands from a stolen listing.

Zero feedback. Run, do not walk, away.

A 9-day listing, and Paypal payment, seems pretty legit to me. But the seller does have 0 feedback. I would bid, but pay only after you see it in person.

email the person and voice your concerns. Perhaps they can sell through one of those "we sell it for you" ebay places. Maybe they can let you inspect it before hand if live near there.

I got a polar 720i from a first time seller for $167. Ask for hi res picks. We all had to start on ebay at some point.

No model name, everything looks like it is just copied off of the brand stickers (i.e. Ksyzium Wheels). I'll ask the person. I was just hoping this wasn't a stolen bike or anything and wanted to check around as it seemed highly suspicious.

you could say you live in the area and might be interested in coming by to look it over before you bid...

Could be, but one still worth running away from. His opening price is $2200, $2000 over the PayPal protection on that auction. It would be too big a risk for me to take.

That an individual can't spell and doesn't know what they're talking about doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. At least it isn't for numerous posters here.

Come on, quit being so naive. eBay sellers are born with at least 1000 positive feedbacks.
