which catalog has the best looking models?

i think that one black haired lady in the colorado cyclist catalog is quite hot!!!

the performance models usually looks really scrawny/pale/geeky in comparison.

who do you think chooses the best models (male and female) to show off their wares?

I haven't seen any models in any cycling catalogs that I would consider "hot". Some look like cyclists (leg muscles) but many look like models you might see in almost any catalog.

I seem to remember some of those Marzoochi (sp?) fork models from their catalogs being awfully hot.

But I agree, it's tuff to beat Niki.

I read Niki's short bio. Not only is she a great mtb racer but brains to boot! Oh yeah, I forgot, this about how she looks...obviously very striking and beautiful.

Actually, if you want to expand this thread beyond the catalogs and into real cyclists and their bodies as works of art you need to consider Elaine Ann Tierney's "The Art of Mountain Biking" collections embodied in the Feminine & Masculine Frames calendar art. These are real cyclists who aren't selling anything -- well, except calendars -- that isn't labelled as what it is... the human body as art through the creative eye of a photographer in the perfect medium: black & white.

Since this is a forum that attracts a wide range of readers with varying levels of maturity I would remind y'all that we're talking about photos that depict human bodies as works of art which demand an open mind. If you've been to an art museum and didn't blush or point and giggle you'll probably appreciate these; otherwise, I'd suggest you pass and not visit the feminineframes Web site.

Pinarello has also done a very artistic black & white photo calendar; however, the artist based his compositions on loosely contrasting "naked" bike frames and models as a study in forms. At least in my opinion, the Pinarello art images are far less interesting than the Feminine / MasculineFrames art images since the models are just that.... models and not athlete-cyclists.

Again, let me remind readers that a mature appreciation of the human body is required if you go in search of this material. If you're offended, embarrassed or otherwise made uneasy by the sight of human bodies depicted as art please "pass" on the material.

There is a downside to this though.

I have noticed that the pleasantly plump, big breatsed, voluptuous types are very likely to become bloated warthogs in their 40's. Especially after childbirth. No offense to those who may be reading but I prefer thin women that can add 20-40 lbs without becoming cottage cheese blobs with body dimples everywhere.

I'm sooo rude.
