Pearl Izumi Vagabond II
 

Hi All,

I went to a local bike store to shop for a cooler weather jacket. I liked the Pearl Izumi Zephrr, but they didn't have one in my size. I believe they had some Vagabonds, but I've seen a Vagabond II on the Pearl Izumi website, and I'm interested in learning more about it. I've heard the Vagabond II is a little heavier than the Zephrr, but it has better ventilation than the Zephrr.

Anyone here have a Pearl Izumi Vagabond II? If so, how do you like it? I'm looking for something I can wear in cooler (fall/early winter) weather with a little bit of water resistance, but good breathability.

Does the Vagabond II breathe well? How well do the ventilation slots in it work?

Also, I am looking for a jacket that will offer good visibility. On the Pearl Izumi website, they have a picture of the front of the Vagabond II in fluorescent yellow, but not the back. Does anyone have a picture of the back of the jacket they could post? Does the back of the jacket have a lot of high visibility yellow fabric or is it black or some dark color? I think the Vagabond 1 that my LBS had did not have a bright back - it was grey or black colored.

Also, does the Vagabond II have some kind of reflective material on it? The Pearl Izumi website says something about 360 degree reflectivity for visibility at night, but I'm not sure what that means.
