Hi all, long time lurker, been looking for a used roadie bike to balance the mtn riding. Can anyone tell me the approx age of this bike, Found on local CL for $150 or b/o. Worth the $? TKS

$150? Can't tell you from that small picture. If components are worn, rusted or damaged it might or might not be.

It's also a fairly small bike and with downtube shifters - you're probably looking at a 15 year old bike.

According to vintage-trek.com, that is a '91, since that was the only year that the 1200 was yellow. Is it worth $150? Well that is up to you. A bike or anything is only worth what you will pay for it. For me, no it isn't worth it, but that is because I don't care for aluminum bikes.
