Poll: how many jerseys do you have?

y'know, every time I get those catalogs in the mail I can't help but think, man, just one more! it's on sale! you can't have too many! so I was just curious about how many jerseys you all have in your collection.

You know way back when I got my first good bike I told everybody I wasn't going to be one of those geeks wearing all those weird bike clothes. I have never done an inventory on my bike clothes before I really didn't think I had all this stuff
12 jerseys (3 winter the rest summer)
5 pair of shorts
4 tights
knee warmers
2 rain suits (1 for winter, 1 summer)
3 wind breakers
3 pairs full finger gloves (1 lightweight, 1 medium, and 1 gortex winter gloves)
4 pair half finger gloves
10 head bands
2 cycling hats
2 pair bike shoes
I ran into a gal I do some riding with a couple of months ago at the grocery store, which is not un common since we live in the same area, what she mentioned to me though was that it was the first time in 3 years of knowing me that I wasn't wearing cycling clothes I tend to cycle so much it seems like I am always in bike clothes when I am in public.

I have a couple dozen. It seems it is the one present that I can rely on for Valentine's, birthday and Xmas.
Oddly enough, I rarely wear any of them. Cotton T's are my preference.

The reason I answered "five" is because that's the number I keep laundered and ready to wear at any one time. It doesn't include long-sleeved jerseys (now in a bin under the bed), fleece jerseys, coolmax t-shirts and other variations. Or old jerseys that are too big that I really ought to give away.

All of my cycling clothes are plain solid color or two-color without logos.

First there were the men's jerseys, then I lost weight, and it was the womens jerseys, then it was sleeveless, now there're different stlyes like tube tops or sport's bra types. Eeeks! Just thinking I have 8 new ones this year alone: 2 short sleeve ones, someone bought me 2, our new club jersey, a team jersey I ride with often, Ragbrai, and Pedal to the Peaks jerseys. Then there are the winter long sleeve, the windbreaker front long sleeves for cold weather. Pretty much, 90% of my clothing purchases are sport specific. I usually wear T-shirts and jeans everywhere else.

Does this only include the ones I actually wear (I think there are about four of those) or the total in all?

Just got my first one at $10. Down from $75/ea it seemed like a steal. I like those pockets in the back.

I've got probably 15, all types from solid short sleeved to perforated long sleeve team jerseys.

My big problem is I'm a sucker for gloves that are on-sale. I've probably got 10 pair!

Three (two short sleeve, one long sleeve), but I wear one may more than the other two.

From this point forward, all jerseys I buy must: 1. have a beer logo, and 2. actually be a beer I drink.

I have 3 real jerseys and one of cotton that I never wear because cotton gets too clammy when I sweat. I have 2 long sleeve soccer shirts that I wear when the weather gets a bit cooler.

1 plain long sleeve
3 plain short sleeve
2 logo short sleeve (USPS & Mercatone Uno)

I think I'll get an ONCE jersey (soon to be a collector's item, right?) and another long sleeve for winter.

Caloso. Difference betweeb North and Southern California, buy fewer long sleeve jerseys. Here in San Diego area, usually we can get away with arm warmers. I own more arm warmers than I do long sleeve jerseys.

Two... One Nema short sleeve simple great and white one (not exactly eye catching.. but my first one), and one flashier Sugoi sleeveless with Texas state flag graphics on it.

I'm with Resident and Danka on this one, and 1old roadie, I know what you mean...I just got the new Saeco/cannondale "legalize my cannondale" jersey and matching bib shorts, so that brings my short sleeve jersey's along to problaby near 30, dosen't mention the winter ones, longsleeve ones and stuff like that....I have a ton, from team jersey's to the many many that my Mom made for me and all that...It's probably crazy to most people, but I just have a weak spot for good colorfull jersey's that are different!!..

Calosso..IT is surprising how much snow we have some years up at Big Bear..When I lived in the Midwest, I tried cross country skiing. That I liked. Cross country not too big in California.?
Maybe once a year, on the average year -we can take a sled up to Julian, outside of San Diego and take in some of that cold, wet stuff. I brought my sled out west for novelity value, not my cross country skis.,
