Important info for those who may have Thule Hitch Rack's a safety recall has been issued.
Hitching Post Pro (934, 934xt, 935, 935xt, 936, 936xt, 937, 937xt, 951, 951xt), Expressway (995, 995xt, 996, 996xt), and Trailblazer (998, 998xt) hitch mounted bike racks sold during the 2003-2007 period.

Damn, I just bought one of those a few months ago. It looks like all they did for the fix is add a sticker saying don't put your finger in between these two pieces of metal and added a rubber bumper.

I think I'll take my chances.

I just got the kit in the mail from them. Small warning sticker (only one, even though it would be better to have two, one for each side of the frame) and a rubber bumper that doesn't do much.

If you have one of these racks, handle with extreme care.

I "fixed" my rack with that new bumper recently, and now the thing is very difficult to fold all the way down. The bumper takes up too much of the space.

I may just pull it off and only put it back on if I ever try to sell the thing. Just watch yer fingers and it won't be a problem...
