Maybe the OP would like to Buy American? The way the $ is going soon we'll be making the tires for the Koreans and Chinese.

A while back, I was reading an article on Mexican bike tires, and it mentioned that the last Mexican manufacturer had quit making bike tires several years ago, and that it had been a number of years prior to that that the last American manufacturer had quit- both being killed off by Chinese imports. This was mainstream-type bike tires, largely serving Walmart-type bikes. There might be some specialty manufacturers in the high-end market, but not that I'm aware of.

The reason I ask is I would like to put American made tires on an American made cruiser and I ALWAYS try to buy American made whenever possible.

Not that I know of ... but actually my favorite tires are English, I believe, so they're sort of related to Canada ... commonwealth and all that. I wish I could afford them on a regular basis.

It is my understanding that Maxxis are US made but, I can't swear to it. I suspect that at least some of their bike tires are US made anyway. Its a solid US company though.

THis one is red, but there's regular black ones on there too.
{Note that the tires listed on the Coker site are vintage/antique, so almost all of those "26" tires won't fit a bicycle, only the BFGoodrich's will fit a 559/26" MTB bicycle wheel...}
I know there's guys using these that post on the motoredbikes.com forum, you could post there asking where these tires are made.

I guess this comes up a lot. Its good to help out the local economy. If manufacturing is not possible, why not direct your attention to the service sector or the distribution chain, the retailer? The local bike shops are individually owned and operated. You can still help out the local economy this way. Some local bike shops are part of a chain of stores. But some are not.

Just bought cruiser tires at LBS. Could have gotten them much cheaper on Ebay. If there is a problem I can always go back to the LBS right away. Not so with Ebay. Also have the opportunity to see product first hand. Only wish they were US rubber, BFG, Goodyear etc and Dunlop for the English 3 speeds. I guess I'm living in the past. Everything is made in China.
