If you're planning on bicycling 10km to your girlfriends place for the night...

...always check to see what the weather conditions are supposed to be that night



It's amazing how quickly the weather can turn sometimes. What was usually a 25 minute bicycle ride turned into an hour long bicycle ride. It was still fun.

You Canucks sure are stoic gentlemen about it.
Being a weather-wuss in San Diego, I rode to my gf's place (less than 4 miles away) and since the weather suddenly got dark, I used it as an excuse to sleep over. It was still fun.

That's about the commute I have to mine, and I'm waiting for dryer pavement before I do that trip again.
