Bay Area Bike Shop?
 

I'm looking for a good bike shop here in the Bay Area. I'm hoping for a "one stop" shop with good service, and (hopefully) aren't bike snobs, or at least, understanding of newbies.

I've been to the Pedaler on San Pablo Dam Rd and didn't care for it much. The seller tried to push a bike on me that I didn't want. I've also been to El Sobrante Schwinn Cyclery, but for the most part they just have BMX stuff. Also, they didn't fix my front derailer when I took the bike to be tuned.

I'm hoping for a shop I can someday buy a fixie (or parts to build one). I also want to invest in more serious road cycling rather than commuting, so I'd want to buy shoes and the like (currently I pedal in t-shirt, under armour, running shoes, and jeans).

So what do you think is a good shop where I can buy gear and take my bike to be tuned up and fitted?
