buying a bike, need advice!

So I've recently been looking for a decent and inexpensive bike, specifically a hybrid. I live in a college town that's pretty flat but I ride a lot. I have an Electra Townie at the moment, and it's a one-speed. Sometimes I want to go a little faster, more speeds would be nice. So far, I've come across a Giant Cypress(http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-US/...le/1268/29329/) and a Bianchi Cortina (http://www.bianchiusa.com/08_cortina.html). I like them because of their prices: both around 350, and the fact that I can go a little faster, and perhaps on farther rides.

If any of you were to pick between the two, what would you decide on?

Thanks a lot,

Meg

I'd get the Bianchi.
