Going on a ride.

Hey General, So I just got back riding Spring Water trail with my roadie friend. So right now I don't "feel right". My hands and buttocks are sore, feet are pretty sore. I also don't have proper shorts, nor jersey. I was wearing some jeans, T-shirt, cycling jacket, and gloves. So can you guys help me, as a newbie, get rid of the problems above? Much thanks.

1) Make sure your bicycle fits.

2) Lose the jeans (but do replace them ... with something with less prominent seams).

3) Get stiff-soled shoes.

Sambas should be a stiff sole right?

I have no idea what Sambas are .... but, can you bend the sole at all? If you can, then the shoe does not have a stiff sole.

We don't sell Adidas. Do try a good skateboard shoe from Vans or Sketchers.

All that and keep your elbows slightly bent when you ride. Relax your shoulders, too. Drink alot of water.
