Help with bike rack

I've been looking for a bike rack that will hold 2 adult and 1 child bikes, the problem is it looks like they're all either (a) made for a car with a trunk (b) require a hitch. We have neither, my wife drives an 06 Honda Odyssey minivan and I drive an 08 Acura RDX (Crossover Utility Vehicle) neither of which have a "trunk" nor hitch. Anyone have a recommendation that won't break the bank? Funds are tight right now. Thanks in advance!

Wal-Mart sells a two bike rack that can go on the back of a van or car. No hitch needed. I think it sells for about $35.00.

I don't see them on their website, but the do have them in most stores.

While I'm not crazy about any strap on rack I think that the Saris Bones is the best of the genre. I tried to look up fit information regarding the Honda Odyssey but couldn't find the information that I was looking for. On mayn such cars you put the bottom feet in the license plate well.

If it was my car and my bikes I think that I'd just fold the back seat and one of the middle seats and stick all three bikes inside. The bikes are out of the weather, road grime and generally away from danger. Don't have anything scratching up your car's paint either.

I just picked up the Thule Metro 3 from Nash bar for 40 bucks. It holds three bikes, you might wanna check it out.
