DIY Jerseys

Does anyone know of any jersey making patterns or companies that makes custom jerseys? I have seen an ad in Bicycling, but they only put your logo on their jersey. Thanks in advance for any replies!

Kacharik and Voler both will make anything you want. All you have to do is pay for it. They both have websites under their name.

Do you want just one for you? It would be very expensive. Voler does "semi custom" jerseys w/ minimum order of six, but it's as you said, they have a handful of patterns with spaces for further printing. Even if you find a pattern, finding the fabric might be tough. Then even if you do, the sublimation dye/printing (for durability) requires special equipment. I don't know if regular silk screening would work.

Let us know what you find out. I have toyed with giving this a try. My wife is a good seamstress.

I checked out the green pepper website it doesn't seem to be too hard of a task for a competent seamstress. Fabric would not be that hard to find, many local fabric stores will special order what you need, and there are several online shops. You might want to check the women's cycling thread for the topic of making your own jersey. I know over the summer a few of us were talking about doing it. There should be some links in there that may be helpful.

I'll volunteer as the BF jersey making guinea pig and let you all know how it goes.
