Extremely large quantity bike order. Where?

I'm in the market to buy 500 rental bikes, and have heard you can order large shipments directly from the manufacturer in china, but I haven't been able to find any specific company information. Anyone have any experience with large quanity orders?

A Taiwanese (not chinese) manufacturer with an OK reputation for quality frames in the UK (the higher end road and cyclocross frames are popular here)

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!
