SCARY Moment

I had a scary moment today while riding today. It was a cool, damp day today in Chicago. About 25 minutes into the ride I felt a dripping from my nose..thought it was just snot. Reached up to my nose and it was blood. Blood was streaming from my nose!! This has never happened to me before. It finally stopped after 5 minutes or so. I turned right around and rode home. My question for all: Has this ever happened to anybody. Should I be alarmed or was this just a freak occurence? I just started getting back into the swing of things after 3 months of slacking?

Probably just the weather. If you've had your furnace on for a while now, and you don't have a humidifier, it really dries out the air in your house. I put a humidifier on my furnace and another one in the hallway of the house. One of my daughters had nosebleeds alot a couple years ago and it seemed to help alot.

I get nose bleeds from dry air all the time, that is probably the cause. Like Badger and DirtGrinder said.

I thought it was just the weather. Just wanted to see, since it has been so long since I've put my body through activity. If it does happen again, the first thing I will do is call the Dr. Thanks all.
