Bike helmet causing forehead to break out

Pretty lame concern all things considered, but has anyone else found a way around this? I feel like a teenager again.

I wash my forehead after every ride. That and the helmet pads every so often.

i get sweat zits near my hairline, especially in the summer months. I would suggest you shower with neutrogena acne-wash. I don't have acne, but it's great for those sweat zits you get from cycling (all over your body as well) due to sweaty hair and sunscreen. Also wash the helmet pads regularly!

I used to get that too. My solution was to ditch the helmet pad that touched my forehead, and wear a thin headband under the helmet instead. I wash the headband every time I wear it. Also solved a sweat-in-my-eyes problem.

Helmet pads don't stand up to daily washing very well, but headbands can last for decades, and you can throw them in the washing machine and not lose them.

The solution is to wash your face an additional time when you brush your teeth. Make it part of your routine. Also you have to have your skin the rest of your life, so if you are really dedicated use sunscreen and slap some lotion on after you wash as soap dries the skin.
