foot/shoe angle?
I've been wondering about this for awhile. I'm pedaling along and glance down at my shoe as it approaches the bottom of the pedal stroke - my right shoe seems to be angled front down toward the road, my left foot is horizontal, parallel to the road surface. I have road pedals & shoes and mountain pedals & shoes. I switch them out at times, depending on the ride and whether I think I may be walking some. It happens with either shoe/pedal setup. I ride 25-40 miles 2 to 3 times a week, a century every month in warm weather and experience no pain or discomfort, for a middle aged guy, so I'm not particularly worried. It's the same whether I'm simply spinning along or toiling a little into a wind or hill. I'm just curious if anyone has noticed something similar? Is there a preferred foot/shoe/pedal angle? I know, I know....don't look down, just keep my eyes on the road ahead.

Don't know if this helps but you can check it out. I became aware of this when I was recently looking for new shoes. It may be a little off subject but does address the issue of foot position https://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEqS...jsp?ssid=Shoes
