Put a camera on your bike! 10 dollars/10 minutes.

http://photojojo.com/content/diy/att...-to-your-bike/

The smell of the road, the wind at your back, infinity miles per gallon…

Riding your bike sure is sweet. But you know what would make it even sweeter? The tried-and-tested, make-it-yourself, $10 + 10 minutes Photojojo BikeCam!

Just don’t assemble it while moving. And stop at all red lights. And stop signs. And use your hand signals. And wear a helmet, for pete’s sake. Your brain’s in there.

Read on to find out how…

Looks good, but there would be many a camera or camera tripod socket that could not cope with that level of abuse. Even riding on the street is pretty jarring for a camera.

Nice looking though.

Agreed. Any moving parts would probably wear out/get damaged pretty quickly, like the motors that zoom and focus the lens. A cheap, fixed-focus disposable camera without zoom would probably be best. With something like that, though, this would be quite cool.

On second thought, scratch the disposable camera idea. I don't think they have tripod mounts on them.

Nice idea for short videos.

For still shots, my camera strapped around my shoulder and under my arm (messenger bag style) works fine for me. I can just grab it with my right hand if I want to snap off a quick shot.

Wearing a helmet on ones ass would probably look pretty silly
