Spinner vs. Trainer? Best trainers under 200?

I want to build endurance on my bike and cant always get to the trails. I would like some advice on what would be best,a spinner bike or a trainer? If trainer, which are best under $200. The last trainer I had was a Minoura 850w/rim drive, and I ended up selling it, because it wasn't road-like. I would like a trainer that can be used with a road or mountain bike. thanks

I'm looking for one myself. I just found all of these, but can't tell you if they're any good.

Hey, thanks. The Kurt Kinetic is the one I had it narrowed down to. Thats a great price at price point. Do you know if a riser block is needed with this type?

You're talking to a total newbie, sorry. I have heard people say good things about Price Point, though.
