Need quality floor pump. This will be my 3rd try
I have purchased two floor pumps and they both are C*ap. I need a pump that is rock solid. Only insterested in Presta. Need it to go to 140psi if possible. Could live with 120psi.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Pumps that seem to get a lot of love are the Joe Blow pump, the different Specialized pumps, and my personal preference, the Silca pista pump.

keeping in mind that everyone is different, I very much like our Bontrager floor pump. I have tried the Joe
Blow pump and did not like it all that much, having said that I realize that most do. I have found the Bontrager to seal well, not pop off the valve early, yet will release easily when I wish it to. I'll admit the problem I had with the Joe Blow may have been one of adjustment, however I just never seemed to be able to get it right.

I have a Serfas and have had good luck with it. I needed the convertible head. FWIW I maintain over a dozen bikes so the pump gets used pretty frequently. I don't see the one I have, but IIRC it is near the bottom of the line up.

I like Specialized pumps. Make sure to get the type with the gauge at the top, as opposed to the bottom. Its a small thing, but better made pumps will do that for easier use.

I like the Topeak Joe Blow. Does the job well and has a reversible head.

I am a fan of Silca.
I worked for a shot for a year that refused to buy an air compressor, we tried a couple Park pumps and I think blackburn then we tried a Silca. The Silca worked flawlessly.
We used the same pump for everything; bike builds, test rides, repairs, etc.
I bought one for myself and am quite pleased.

check out the joe blow sport (yellow) nice looking pump. It has dual head, and is easy to remove from the stem. Air volume is kinda of lacking though, takes about 15-20 strokes to get to 120 psi
blackburn makes nice pumps for more $$$ with lifetime warrantly
my joe blow only has a 90 day warranty, i think i have had it about 2 months now..hope it don't crap out after 90 days
before that was using an el cheapo Bell pump from wally world..blew the valve on it

I DON'T recommend Topeak Joe Blow Sport, Topeak Joe Blow Max II, and SKS Rennkompressor floor pumps.
The Topeak pumps frequently did not seal properly on Presta valves. The SKS pump hardly pumped air, and it's valve adapter (Presta <-> Shrader) didn't seem to work either (the worst pump I've ever had)!!??
I DO recommend Specialized Air Tool Comp, and (to a lesser degree) Blackburn Airtower series pumps.
The Specialized pump works quite well and it is my main pump. The Blackburn pumps are OK also, but on occasion their nozzles do not seal well on Presta valves.

That is amazing, the two in the shop have worked perfectly on every Presta(or shcrader) valve we have put them on. That would be around 150-200 tires a week. The only issue is the spring in the smart head only last about a year, around 8000 valves, but there is a cheap rebuild kit.
